Possible GTX 1080 Ti launch

Nvidia has announced its dedicated GTX Gaming Celebration event which will take place at the GDC 2017 show on February 28th.

While Nvidia was quite vague on what to expect at the event, it did promise "an evening of awesome PC gaming, hardware, tournaments and of course free food, drinks and a few other amazing surprises".

The event will take place on the same day as AMD's earlier announced Capsaicin and Cream event and, according to earlier rumors, Nvidia will most likely try to steal some thunder by announcing the Geforce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card. On the other hand, there is no confirmation that AMD will actually show anything but current rumors point that AMD will most likely launch its Ryzen CPU lineup on the same day and we are hoping for some further details on the Vega GPU lineup.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX Gaming Celebration event will take place in downtown San Francisco and start at 7:00 PM PST. Unfortunately, there is no word if the event will be streamed live but hopefully, we will get more details soon.
