Argentinan anti-piracy group hacked

Don’t cry for me Argentina

Anti-piracy group the Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers' has been hacked.

Hackers broke into the site and transformed into a Pirate Bay proxy, serving up torrents instead of industry lobbying affairs.

So far no one has claimed responsibility for the hack. The site went offline after it was spotted. TorrentFreak noted that the site was transformed into a Pirate Bay proxy for about 10 hours following the organization winning injunctions demanding that 11 ISPs block 256 IP addresses and 12 domains of the Pirate Bay.

The Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers' legal action made the country the first in Latin America country to block the Pirate Bay. Needless to say this made some torrent downloaders in the country a little miffed.
