Requirements confirmed

After the
recent surprise of the creation of Futurmark's Games Studio, the Futurmark Corporation has yet another one prepared. They have launched the first three screenshots of the upcoming 3DMark Vantage that will bring the benchmark up to snuff with support for DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0.

The Futurmark publication, Yougamers.com, has 3DMark Vantage system requirements on their Game-o-Meter engine so you can check where your current system stands when compared to the publishers' minimum/recommended specifications. You can find the link for the Game-o-Meter on the 3DMark Vantage site, which is updated and might show some additional info soon; so we'll keep an eye on it, just in case.

Our colleagues from PCGamesHardware.de have made an interesting comparison of the 3DMark Vantage screenshots and Egosoft's X3: Reunion game. This one really looks interesting and similarities are amazing. You can check out the comparison here.

Here are the new screenshots, and you can find bigger versions here.
