V1R, or V1's offspring

Thermaltake
has launched a new memory cooler, the V1R. As the name suggests, it shares much of its DNA with Thermaltake's V1 quad heatpipe passive CPU cooler.

Of course, the memory cooler is tiny compared to the massive V1, but weighing in at 155g and measuring 155.8(L)x20.3(W)x114.6(H)mm, it's still huge compared to most memory coolers on the market.

Like the V1, the VR1 uses a copper heatpipe and copper fins to transfer heat efficiently and silently, and if you've got a window on your case you'll probably appreciate its looks, too. The heatpipe runs through an aluminum heatsink, and you can also adjust the angle of the heatpipe and fins to ease installation (or to make it look cooler).
