Radeon HD 4870 selling well

Written by Fuad Abazovic

Like hot cakes

ATI's partners are getting optimistic as the sales are doing really well and they all got more pieces than anyone hoped for. ATI launched the Radeon HD 4850 with availability in really healthy quantities while HD 4870 was limited at launch.

We learned that the availability of the HD 4870 is getting better by each week and that there shouldn't be any serious shortages of these cards. Partners are getting them and they don’t even complain that they can't get enough. A few of them said that they got more than they hoped for.

At the same time, the Radeon HD 4870 gives you a lot of performance for not so much money and it changes the game to ATI’s advantage. It was about time for this to happen.
