We can confirm now that the deal that we told you about yesterday with Wal-Mart selling the Xbox 360 Arcade system for $199 with a $100 Wal-Mart Gift Card is now confirmed. According to what we now know, this is part of a one-day sale that will start at 8 A.M. on Saturday, November 7th.

According to the whispers that we are hearing, this is an effort by Wal-Mart to spread the sales out over the month of November, rather than the focus on just Black Friday. The company is attempting to do this with some very good deals on electronics. From what we know so far, a laptop, plasma HDTV, Blu-ray player, DVD player and LCD HDTV make up at least part of what the company will be offering as part of its one-day special sale.

The rumblings insist that this is the first of weekly special deal Saturday sales that will continue until Black Friday. We suspect that additional deals for electronics will continue each Saturday until Black Friday. We don't have a line yet on what else could be on the slate to be offered in the coming weeks, but we expect that there will be some additional "can't miss"deals for the holidays.
