New iPad mini available

Written by Fuad Abazovic

Cheapest $399 WiFi, $529 4G

Apple has started shipping its new iPad mini with Retina screen and you can order one as of today. This comes as a surprise as many people expected them to show up later this month, but obviously Apple had other plans.

US gets this smaller version of the iPad Air for $399 for 16GB and $529 for Wifi and Cellular version 16GB that ships in 5 to 10 days. The top WiFi only iPad mini sells for $699 and ships in 5 to 10 days while 16GB and 32GB are ready to ship in one to three days. The top 128GB 4G version of this tablet sells for $829 and ships in five to ten days.

German readers are getting 16GB for €389 while WiFi + Cellural version starts from €509 and ships in five to ten days. Just as it is the case in the US, the 16GB and 32GB WiFi only are ready to ship in one to three days while 64GB and most expensive 128GB at €659 are ready to ship in five to ten days.

Brtain is getting 16GB £319 and 32GB units for £399 that are ready to ship in one to three days, while the 64GB £479 and 128GB at £559 should ship in five to ten days. The cheapest WiFi + Cellular version ships in five to ten days for £419 while the most expensive 128GB WiFi + Cellular also ships in five to ten days for £659.

You cannot really call this affordable, but there is no doubt that they will sell well. There are a few new colour options, too. You can order them at Apple.com slash-your-country webpage and we would expect that they should be available in Apple stores in case there is one nearby.
