Electronic Arts has been reviving the EA Sports Big product line with the news that SSX and FIFA Street are coming. The EA Sports Big series has been on hiatus for some time, although gamers have been waiting to see titles in the series reappear.

Despite a number of rumors that EA Sports Big titles NBA Street and Def Jam Wrestling were being considered for possible development, EA’s Andrew Wilson confirmed that right now it has no plans to bring those titles back. EA does continue to look for the right opportunity to make it happen, and we suspect that depending on how well SSX and FIFA Street do will lend a lot hope to that possibility. In addition, EA admits that they have to find the right team of developers to make any such revival successful.

In the meantime, EA released a sequel to NBA Jam last year; and it has now brought out a second NBA Jam title called ‘NBA Jam The On Fire Edition’ for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This time around, however, it is a DLC only offering and there is said to be no Wii release in the cards.
