iPhone 5 pre-orders to be accepted September 30th

Written by David Stellmack

Sources think it will be for an October 7th or 14th release
It seems these days that people just can’t get enough of the iPhone 5 rumors, but the fever pitch on the rumor mill seems to be heading toward an end; rumors seem to suggest that Apple will start accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5 starting on September 30th with Apple still trying to choose between an October 7th or 14th release for the actual handset. It does seem that the October 7th release is likely, as multiple sources are telling us that this is the day.

As for the iPad 3, don’t expect it to be launched or announced alongside the iPhone 5, as many have suggested. It apparently isn’t going to happen due to all of the supply problems that Apple has been having getting suitable LCD panels for the iPad 3. It now looks like we will not see the new iPad 3 till at least spring of next year.
