Shocking

According to Intel’s internal data, an astonishing 64 percent of all CPUs that Intel plans to sell to its OEMs in Q3 2008 are going to be 65nm.

A 45nm production is ramping up, but obviously not as fast as you would expect it. In the retail market, this number is much smaller, as tech conscious consumers are instead picking up the 45nm parts.

Intel Pentium dual-core processor 2000 series (65nm) dual core are predominant in this chart with 33% of market share, but this is something you could easily expect as this CPU is incredibly affordable.

Intel Core 2 Duo E4000 and E6000 series, dual cores at 65nm, have a big piece of the pie with 12 percent or market shade but with tendency to drop to one percent in Q2 2009.
