Up and Atom
Specifications for HP's
much talked about, but never seen, Atom netbook range have started to appear on the
web.
It looks like HP will be offering four models in the Mini 1100
series HP has been making netbooks since October of 2008 called the HP Mini
1000. When it did this, the maker of expensive printer ink stuck information up
on its website before the launch.
The four new models on the HP website
include an 1131CL, 1135NR, 1140NR, and the 1141NR. Specifications are similar
to earlier models. They all come with Intel Atom N270 CPU at 1.6GHz, 1GB of
RAM, Intel GMA 950 graphics and have 60GB 4200 RPM HDD storage and a 10.1-inch
1024 x576 LCD Infinity BrightView LED display.
Where they differ is that the
1135NR and the 1140NR offers Bluetooth. All of them offer Wi-Fi along with HD
audio, a webcam, and an integrated microphone. Generally it is hard to spot
the difference between the four. There might be some new specifications when HP
gets closer to shipping
