A couple of pictures of SUPoX's upcoming X58 board, the AP58+ GTR, have turned up over at OCWorkbench alongside a full spec list and it looks like a rather interesting, if somewhat messy board. SUPoX has added a few twists of their own to try to make this board stand out from the crowd.

Besides the expected three PCIe x16 slots and six memory slots, the AP58+ GTR also has two PCI slots and one x1 PCIe slot, eight SATA ports, an IDE connector, a floppy connector and what SUPoX calls a Q-SSD slot, which is a Compact Flash slot which allows you to boot from a CF card.

Around the back you'll find two PS/2 ports, an eSATA connector, dual Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports with headers on the board for an additional eight USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port and 7.1-channel audio with optical S/PDIF out. Oddly enough, SUPoX has also added a header for both a serial and a parallel port on the board.

SUPoX will also offer a combined 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR card called the Q-Fi, although this seems to be optional. The board also has a debug LED display, power and reset buttons and a rather funky looking heatpipe cooling setup. It looks like SUPoX has gone for a 10-phase power regulation design, but it's a bit hard to tell.

The big question will be where you can buy this board, rather than how much it'll cost. We doubt it'll be cheap, as so far none of the prices we've seen for X58 boards come anywhere near what most people would be willing to pay.
