3870 priced at €229, AMD confirms

Richard Huddy, AMD's Wordwide Developer Relations Manager, world famous for his dating tips for geeks and graphics knowledge, has officially confirmed that Radeon 3870 will retail at €229 including VAT, and 3850 will retail for €179 including VAT.

Sales and Marketing VP, Jochen Polster, has told the press that this price depends on a region and this is what you should end up paying. At the end it is all up to etailers and retailers and the price will depend on a local VAT.

Many sources have confirmed that the price will likely go even further down as we get into the holidays, but we don't expect massive changes.

Radeon 3850 is a good card for not much money and two of them will also provide you with nice performance. Partners are really happy about the price / performance ratio and they believe that they will sell a lot of these cards.
