Computex 08:  Soon enough

We've finally confirmed that Nvidia has a Geforce 9800GT card in the pipeline and it is about to launch it soon.

The card is codenamed D9P-40 and, just like Geforce 8800GT, it supports 512MB GDDR3.

We are probably looking at a few less Shader units or simply a rebrand of Geforce 8800GT card. We also know that Nvidia is working on a 55nm version of its G92 core, but we don't think that this core might make it for this product. We guess that 8800GT will simply be sold out and Nvidia will simply swap the card with a higher number and a bit better specs.

It should launch very soon.
