Cebit 08: After the 6MB version
After the arrival of the first 45nm Deneb core with 6MB of L3 cache, there will also be a Deneb-based core that will completely lack L3 cache. AMD did some performance analysis and sources close to the company have found out that the lack of L3 cache doesn't really affect the performance.
That should be the second 45nm quad-core processor to ship, and from what we've heard, it should be tiny compared to Nehalem. This baby might even end up more than 30 percent smaller than the Nehalem native quad-core from Intel.
