Cebit 2009: To bundle SSDs with a 3.5-inch bracket

Patriot has decided to come up with something that will differentiate its SSDs from the competition. As a lot of users use the 2.5-inch SSDs in their desktop systems, Patriot decided to bundle its Warp SSDs with a 3.5-inch aluminum bracket.

The bracket is made out of aircraft-grade aluminum and should also help in cooling the SSD. As you already know, the SSDs doesn't tend to get hot, but aluminum can certainly help it sell better. This is a simple yet very clever solution, as you don't want to go out and buy a bracket just to mount that SSD in your desktop system, Patriot will give it for free.

The bracket should start shipping with the Warp SSDs by the end of this month, and this will certainly give Patriot some leverage over the competition. This is how it looks.
