N260GTX Lightning, launching at CeBIT

The guys over at Matbe have received information from MSI about a new Geforce GTX 260 they are developing. The new GTX 260 flavor will feature double the amount of GDDR3 memory chips found in current models.

The card, dubbed MSI N260GTX Lightning, will pack 1792MB of memory, as the GTX 295 does, and will be manufactured on a red PCB with dual-slot cooling, dual fans, and five heatpipes. The card also features an 8 + 2 phase power design, including capacitors that support temperatures up to 125C with an advertised lifetime of 5000 hours.

Clock frequencies are unknown at press time, but users will be able to quickly and easily modify them with the included MSI N260GTX Lightning AirForce Panel.

Moreover, this card is launching next week at CeBIT, where we can expect to receive further information about the product.
