Three new mobile CPUs in June


The new Centrino line will get thee new CPUs and they will all stay in Centrino 2 style. The faster one to launch is Core 2 Duo T9900, and this 3.06GHZ CPU will be fastest non-extreme CPU to launch to date.

It features FSB1066 and 6MB cache, and in reality, it looks like the Core 2 Extreme X9100, as it shares the same specs. The main difference will be the price, as X9100 is available today for $851, while Core 2 Duo T9900 will launch in June and it will debut for $530.

The second new CPU is Core 2 Duo P9700, and this 2.8GHz CPU also has FSB1066 and 6MB cache and will debut for $348, in June. The last of the new CPUs is Core 2 Duo P8800 and this new 2.66GHz FSB1066 CPU has 3MB cache and it will sell for more modest $241.
