No need for external screen anymore

Fujitsu Siemens
FSC's Amilo Sa 3650 notebook with XGP, External Graphics Processor also known under its codename Lasso, finally got the driver that will let XGP accelerate graphics on the notebook itself.

The original driver was accelerating the external display connected via XGP, and not the notebook graphics itself, but thanks to the new January driver, which is not that different from Catalyst 9.1 you finally get the chance to accelerate the graphics on your notebook, without the need for an external screen.

This is a big engineering achievement and ATI's Toronto based boys are very happy about it. This finally get XGP to another dimension and gives us high hopes for such a device and its future. The driver should be available shortly to Amilo FSC's Amilo Sa 3650 early adopters.

We might be able to test this claim, shortly.
