CPUz and Franck D to blame

It finally happened: Phenom II, Deneb CPU has been overclocked and validated by CPUz 1.48 all the way to 4.4GHz.

We’ve seen some better scores with LN2, but 4.4GHz from 3.0 quite impressive nonetheless. The guys from canardpc used a Biostar TA790GX motherboard, multiplier 20x220 to reach this nice score but we don’t know what the voltage was for this achievement.

Without further delays, we give you the screenshot here and AMD was specific to tell us a few weeks ago that all Deneb CPUs will overclock well and that the one we’ve seen in Austin was not cherry picked.
