1000 Geforce GTX 1080 at launch
OcUK, the Overclockers UK has sold more than 1000 Radeon RX 480 cards at launch. Although to be fair to Nvidia, the etailer added that they also managed to shift 1000 Geforce GTX 1080 cards on their launch too [so much for the rumour that Nvidia sampled only small volume to the etailers.ed]
Higher clock speeds
MSI has replied to TechPowerUp claims it has caught out MSI it out sending out review graphics cards with higher clock speeds out of the box.
But will not say how budget friendly
The whole press release thing is getting rather silly. ASUS is announcing a non-reference GTX 1080 Turbo card which it says will be cheaper than GTX 1080 Founders Edition but is refusing to say how much cheaper.
Part of Asus' Republic of Gamers lineup
ASUS had plenty of new products at the Computex 2016 show, including its version of the external graphics card box which will be a part of the Republic of Gamers (ROG) lineup, the XG Station 2.

Founders Edition also available
On Friday, ASUS took the wraps off its latest Geforce 10 series graphics cards based on Nvidia’s Pascal architecture and specifically designed with gamers and hardware enthusiasts in mind. The company’s new ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1080 and Geforce GTX 1080 Founders Edition cards are now available, with the ROG Strix option offering an impressive 1.94GHz Boost clock in OC Mod, trailing ahead most of the competition so far.
Faster than GTX Titan X in 3DMark 11
Asus has dropped a bomb ahead of the Computex 2016 by teasing Nvidia's upcoming mobile Geforce GPU which is actually faster than desktop GTX Titan X.
