20 Gigabyte 8800 GTS 512MB cards on eBay

£295 a pop

We spotted these cards by chance, but someone in the U.K. has gotten their hands on no less than 20 retail packaged Gigabyte NX88S512H-B 8800 GTS cards.

The cards are going for £295 each, and you can opt out from paying the £9.50 postage by collecting from the seller, so it looks like this is the genuine deal.

We're not quite sure how someone has managed to get their hands on 20 unreleased graphics cards, although it's not as though we are that far from the actual launch. However, the price is most likely going to put most potential buyers off, as you can get an 8800 GTX for the same price, or even less.

At the time of writing there are 19 cards left, but we would wait until after the launch before we would even consider getting one; and by then, the price might go down on these eBay cards, as well.

You can find the listing here
