Asus reportedly eying Toshiba's notebook business

Could make it third largest notebook vendor
Asus is rumoured to be considering acquiring Toshiba's notebook business.
According to Digitimes, the company is just one of the possible acquisition targets. Asus wants to secure its position on the notebook market and become one of the top three vendors by 2011.
Asus chairman Jonney Shih confirmed that Asus was in contact with Toshiba, but that no agreement was finalized yet.
