Atlanta to get new RIM data center

RIM is going to add another 200 jobs, and this time around it will be in a new facility in Atlanta, Georgia, in Alpharetta, where RIM will be building a new data center in a 40-acre site near the North Point Mall.

From what we hear the 200 employees will be engaged in developing next generation products for the company. We don’t yet know what all they will be working on at the Alpharetta facility, but it is good to see the continued expansion by RIM into an area that can certainly use the jobs.
