Trend keeps Microsoft pact

Looking after Hotmail

 

Security company Trend Micro has extended its previous agreement with Microsoft to look after Windows Live Hotmail and MSN Hotmail email accounts.

According to a press release, Trend has been providing similar real-time antivirus scanning and cleaning protection to MSN Hotmail and has now extended its contract to hand Microsoft's new Windows Live Hotmail.

The agreement is only for one year and will require all through the one-year agreement, Trend Micro provides use Windows Live Hotmail to be scanned in real-time for viruses, Trojans, worms, and other malicious threats.
