Takes a minute to copy a 700 MB movie

Samsung
announced its Wireless USB, designed as a system-on-chip which could very well be a standard accessory in modern mobile phones.

Samsung claims that the new W-USB technology is capable of transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps, which allows it to copy a 700MB movie from one device to another in only one minute.

W-USB SoC system uses 128-bit AES security data encryption, which will make it difficult for hackers to compromise this system.

Samsung is currently distributing samples of this chip, whereas the mass production is expected in Q2 this year.
