Still trying to get a handle on the problem

Netflix is still attempting to run down the issue that is causing users streaming content from the company to encounter problems. When Netflix first started having issues, it was thought that the problem was isolated to the Rook Netflix box and some PC owners, but now Xbox 360 owners are affected, as well.

When the streaming first launched from Netflix it functioned as advertised with no issues, but as time has passed the quality of the streams has degraded significantly. Netflix is unsure what the issue is, but has been working on troubleshooting its content distribution network in an effort to get to the root of the problem.

Netflix still believes that it is a small number of people involved and they are doing the best that they can to resolve the problem. Netflix is also complaining that they have built something entirely new for content delivery over the Internet, so there is no real manual or instructions to follow to identify or resolve the issue.

With more customers that are complaining and posting and contacting Netflix about their issues, the company will have to work harder at getting to the root cause of the problem. It seems that some still believe that the problem is related to the ISP that connects the users to the Internet, but so far all testing to prove this to be the case has revealed nothing.
