Special edition packed in leather

MSI has announced yet another one of its special edition notebooks, the PX600 Prestige Collection. It packs Intel Core 2 Duo processors and Intel PM45+ICH9M, paired up with Nvidia's Geforce 9300M GS graphics card.

MSI opted for the combination of classic leather with modern brushed aluminum to give the new PX600 Prestige that touch of something special. The 9300M GS with 256MB of DDR2 VRAM is a nice touch and should be enough for some decent performance on the 15.4-inch LCD display.

Other noted specs for this notebook include up to 4GB of DDR2-800 memory, HD audio with two integrated speakers, 2.0MP Webcam, gigabit LAN, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11agn wireless, HDMI and D-Sub video outs, two USB ports, single e-SATA/USB combo port, one Firewire, up to 320GB of hard drive capacity and a DVD Super-Multi/Blu-ray optical drive.

The new PX600 will be available with either a 6 or 9-cell battery and with dimensions of 360 x 295.5 x 37.5mm (LxWxH), this one should weigh in at 2.7kg with a 6-cell battery.
