Super Talent launches Eee friendly SSDs

Three flavors, starting at $53 for 16GB


With sales
in excess of half a million units per month, the Eee upgrade market is on the road to becoming a rather lucrative affair.

Super Talent has launched three Mini PCI Express SSDs designed for the Eee. The drives will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, and prices will range from $53 to $149. Considering most Eee's ship with 20GB or 40GB of storage, any kind of additional storage is more than welcome.

Super Talent sees the new product series as a natural extension of its SSD lineup and believes solid state is the way to go when it comes to netbooks. Don't be surprised if other netbooks get the same treatment.
