Greece took the victory

Some time ago we wrote about MSI's and OCZ's European Overclocking Challenge that took place in "Westergasfabriek" Amsterdam. The actual event ended on the 24th of August, the same day that Games Convention in Leipzig has ended. And now that the event is over, we can report that the Greek team won, followed by Turkey and France.

MSI was looking for the best European overclocking team that could push MSI's P45 motherboard way higher than anyone has pushed it before. The guys from Greece are actually quite famous, as you might have heard the names Hipro5 and Gprhellas before. They won by getting these configurations to give 30261 in 3DMark05 and SuperPi in 8.063 seconds. Their system also made 12083 in Cinebench test. Turkish and French teams were not that far behind in points, but the team from Greece made it clear that they just love the smell of LN2 in the morning.

Beside the regular awards and prizes, MSI is also going to include these three teams in MSI's World Wide Overclocking Challenge that will be held in Taiwan in November. As the winner, Hipro5, said at the end of the show, "Overclocking till death, Overclocking is Life!" Here are some pictures from the show, and you can find more information here.
