Zalman lives to fight another day

by on20 November 2014

We’re back baby!

Zalman will survive the Moneual mess and live on to cool our gaming rigs, hopefully for years to come.

The Korean company found itself embroiled in a huge mess thanks to its parent company Moneual, which was accused of financial fraud. Moneual execs are accused of being involved in massive fraud schemes, with damages estimated at up to $3 billion.

None of this was Zalman’s doing and the company is basically collateral damage. Luckily it will survive the mess. Zalman said it is experiencing “financial hardship” due to the problems, but the company stressed it is not going bankrupt.

“While everyone at Zalman is deeply saddened and disappointed with the actions of Moneual, we emphasize the fact that Zalman itself was never a part of anything illegal, in actuality Zalman was one of the hardest hit victims by this recent scandal,” the company said in a statement.

Zalman said it is in the process of restructuring the company under court oversight and we sincerely hope the affair will not have any long-term effect on the company.
