What strategy franchise is Microsoft rebooting?

Written by David Stellmack

Looking for someone to lead the development team

Microsoft is looking for a software development engineer at Microsoft Studios to lead the development effort on a triple AAA strategy game franchise that is apparently already well established. It is unknown is this is a reboot of an existing older strategy franchise or something like a new chapter in the franchise.

While the job listings are not providing any additional clues, we do know that the position will be based in Redmond Washington. That still is not a lot to go on, but we can think of a number of Microsoft strategy games that the company has released over the years that might be ripe for a reboot.

Look at the job posing here.
