Nuclear Division test new ideas in mobile

Vince Zampella of Respawn and Larry Pacey formally of slot machine maker WMS have teamed up to open a new 12 person mobile studio to be called Nuclear Division. The two hope to use the company to test new idea while at the same time not ignoring what is going on in the mobile space. (The studio is expected to employ about 50 when it is all said and done.)

The new mobile studio is said to already have several games that are in the works, but they are not ready to give anyone a peek just yet. We are told that we can expect the first offerings from Nuclear Division within a few years.

While the two companies will be in the San Fernando Valley, Zampella will not be leaving his day job at Respawn. It is not clear yet if Pacey will be in charge and running the show or not over at Nuclear Division.
