Japanese release of Xbox One in September

Written by David Stellmack

Exclusive attention grabbing title in development

The Xbox One is being released in Japan. We always knew that Microsoft would release the Xbox One in Japan, but capturing the Japanese market is another thing all together. Sources are claiming that based on a number of comments, Microsoft is planning a big first rate attention grabbing title that will be coming at the same time as the Xbox One.

When talking about the September release of the Xbox One in Japan, Kris Graft commented that “…a unique exclusive title is in development for the Xbox One by an awesome Japanese studio.” That is not all as Phil Spencer added, “I am looking forward to the Tokyo Game Show this year, and I want to show everyone something never seen before.”

What it might be is hard to say. Given the connection with Capcom for the Xbox One exclusive of Dead Rising 3 for the Xbox One, maybe it is something Capcom is working on, but so far no one knows. There is also no word if this title might be coming to North America and Europe as well. We guess that we will not know that till we know what the title is.
