Mojo Android console coming from Mad Catz

Written by David Stellmack

Twice the price of the OUYA makes us ask why?

Mad Catz is preparing to launch its Android based micro console known as M.O.J.O. this December. The console which is twice the price for competitor Ouya, but offers some additional features not found in the Ouya console.

The MOJO uses a 1.8GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and comes with 16GB of flash storage as well as 2GB of RAM. The MOJO will support 1080p resolution with 5.1 surround sound. It offers a SDXC card slot and USB connection for external hard drive storage.

Mad Catz is already taking pre-orders for the console on their website, but at twice the price of the Ouya and almost three times the price of the GameStick we are left wondering how successful it will be.

Check out the MOJO here.
