Blackberry OS 4.5 is coming soon

BlackBerry users will be thrilled to know that version 4.5 of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager is now available on RIM’s site for download. While RIM did not really make a big deal of the release of version 4.5 of its Desktop Manager, one can only now assume that version 4.5 of the BlackBerry OS is not too far from release.

Given the fact that BIS 2.5 upgrade is slated to arrive on June 28th, we expect that 4.5 of the OS is not going to be far behind that release date. Version 4.5 of the BlackBerry OS is expected to fix some nagging issues in the older releases as well as add some new features as well as support for the latest BlackBerry devices.

Of course, it will be up to individual cell phone providers how or if they will make the update available to BlackBerry users on their networks. We expect that you will be hearing more about 4.5 OS upgrade in the coming weeks ahead. In the meantime it would appear that many users have been able to get their hands on the beta and the initial feedback has been quite positive.
