Qualcomm now worth more than Intel

Written by Nick Farrell

And they said it could never happen

According to the latest rankings of companies based on market capitalisation, Qualcomm is now worth more than Intel.

The S&P 500 ordered by largest market capitalization has Qualcomm in the 29th spot which is one higher than Chipzilla. Market capitalization gives a true comparison of the value attributed by the stock market to a given company’s stock. Bomparing market capitalization enables a good comparison of the value of two stocks.

Qualcomm is valued at $113.82 billion while Intel is valued at $111.85 billion.
