Facebook to hold Android event on April 4th

Written by Slobodan Simic

New home on Android

Facebook has sent out press invitations for an event scheduled for April 4th with a rather interesting title "Come see our new home on Android".

Although it does not share any precise details, the invitation is quite clear that it will have something to do with Google's OS and since HTC is quite a big partner with Facebook, we might see a new smartphone as well.

Since HTC already did the ChaCha and Salsa smartphones, we might see the rumored HTC Myst smartphone that has been already spotted clearing the FCC in the USA.

It is still anyone's guess and we might just see a new way of Facebook integration with Android, but since the April 4th is not that far away we are quite sure that more leaks will show up pretty soon.
