China's Premier gets on Facebook

More friends than Bush


Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has a Facebook page with more friends than President Bush, while we cannot say we are surprised at this. 

After all, Gordon Brown has more friends than President Bush and Saddam Hussein probably is more loved than the U.S. president.

Wen is pretty popular ,thanks to his quick and sympathetic response to the May 12th earthquake in central China that's killed more than 67,000 people.His comments to a teen trapped in the rubble, "This is Grandpa Wen Jiabao, hang on child, we will rescue you!" were widely reported and popular. 

He managed to escape the anger that fell on most officials who allowed schools in the region to fall into such a poor state of repair.
