Multiplayer beta for Crysis 3 starts on the 29th

Written by David Stellmack

Two weeks of multiplayer action for 360, PS3, & PC

Electronic Arts and Crytek have announced that the expected multiplayer beta for Crysis 3 will start on January 29th and run till February 12th. The Beta will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms.

The Beta will include two team-based modes as well as two maps for each mode. The Crash Site mode will pit two players vs. ten on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while the PC version will be a bit more of a challenge with its two vs. fourteen play. The other mode that will be in the demo is the Hunter mode. The featured maps will be Airport and Museum.

Crysis 3 will be on retailer shelves starting on February 19th in North America, followed by its release in Europe on February 21st. The game will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Despite the talk of the possibility of a Wii U release for Crysis 3, Crytek (as we told you previously) has since confirmed it isn’t happening.
