Amiigo fitness bracelet hits gold

Plows over its $90k goal at Indiegogo

Amiigo fitness tracker bracelet project has kicked off with a bang over at Indiegogo.com and has already raised enough cash to make it a reality.

In case you missed it, the Amiigo bracelet is similar to Nike Fuel, but can automatically identify and track specific exercises by differentiating elliptical, running, swimming, bicep curls, squats and, as far as we can see, any other motion that you might think of, or precisely, over one hundred different activities. It, of course, also tracks heart rate, blood oxygen levels, skin temperature, overalls activity level and calories burned after exercise.

The Amiigo includes the "shoe clip" that also captures the movement of the lower body and both the bracelet and the shoe clip are completely waterproof.

The early birds US $89 deals are unfortunately gone as it already raised US $150k of its 90k goal but US $99 for the black Amiigo does not sound like a bad deal if you are into exercise and want to track it on you favorite iOS or Android device.
