Darksiders 2 to get new DLC

Vigil Games loses Joe Madureira

Darksiders’ Creative Director Joe Madureira will be departing Vigil Games. The comic book legend that played such an important role in the development of the Darksiders franchise will be gone after a seven-year stint with Vigil Games.

In an effort to take the attention away from Joe’s departure, THQ has shown a new image from upcoming DLC with a tagline, “A new adventure awaits Death!”, but no timeline or additional details are known when this DLC might arrive.

As for Madureria, who is best known for his work on the Uncanny X-Men, in addition to Darksiders, he is apparently headed back to the comic book world. Madureira says that he will announce his next “big thing” at some point in the months ahead. No one expects that it will have anything to do with video games, however.
