Minecraft for 360 gets updated

Written by David Stellmack

Version 1.8.2+ ready for download now

The Minecraft update that players on the Xbox 360 have been waiting for is finally ready for download. The 1.8.2+ update is a big update that adds the new creative mode, superflat world type, and new combat mechanics, as well as a lot of other new features.

The amount of additions is pretty impressive, as are the bug fixes that will make players happy. This update should keep 360 players busy for a bit; but we suspect that even more will be added in the next update. No word yet on when the next update is expected to arrive, but it is going to take some time to absorb all of the stuff that was included in this update.

If you want to read the specifics on the update you can get them here.
