Hulu Plus gets a facelift on PS3

New tray style format with better art work

The PlayStation 3 got a new and redesigned version of its Hulu Plus application. While subscriptions to the service are not growing at the rate that the Hulu folks would like, improvements to the interface and software could help get players to give it a second look.

The newly revised version of the Hulu Plus software now uses a tray style format with a better and more colorful experience. In addition, the software gets improvements in the recommendations and viewer history lead to a better overall experience.

One thing that has not changed is the price. That might be the one thing that Hulu needs to change for the Plus version to gain more folks subscribing to it. Hulu Plus could also use more content which would also be helpful in getting subscribers.
