Google Nexus 7 hits France, Germany and Spain

€199 for 8GB model, €249 for 16GB one


Rumoured to show up in Europe on September 3, the Nexus 7 tablet has jumped the gun and has appeared in Germany, France and Spain via Google's online store.

The €199 and €249 price for the 8GB and 16GB models of the Nexus 7 does not come as a surprise since it was something that was expected and rumoured for quite some time. Europe usually pulls the shortest straw but hopefully these prices also include VAT.

The bad side of the story is that Google's Play Magazines and Play Music are still exclusive to the US of A but at least the Play Movies and Play Books are available for these three new countries. Hopefully, the rest of the Europe will join in shortly.

If your IP address comes from these three new countries and you waited for Google's Nexus 7, it is the right time to hit Google's Play store. (via AndroidPolice.com).
