Battlefield 4 ship date announced

Written by David Stellmack

Look for it between April 2013 and March 2014

Electronic Arts has confirmed that Battlefield 4 will arrive in EA’s fiscal year 2014. During its earnings call, the company claimed that it was on track to ship the game between April 2013 and March 2014. Recent Battlefield releases have arrived in October, so we would not count out the likelihood of an October 2013 release; but for the time being, the company is taking a wait and see approach.

The beta test that was already announced will come in the fall of 2013, but plans beyond that were not confirmed. Actually, EA didn’t have much else to say on the future of the Battlefield and Medal of Honor series. The company did affirm its belief in the upcoming release of Medal of Honor: Warfighter and its faith that it will be a successful release with sales numbers to go with it.
