Asus Nexus 7 to get audio dock

Written by Fudzilla staff

No plans for a keyboard though

The Google Nexus 7 (née Asus) will get an audio dock, courtesy of Asus.

The announcement is hardly surprising, as the Nexus features four docking pins on the side and it was clear that they would be put to good use at some point.

Asus told Pocket-Lint that the dock will be black and it should seamlessly blend with the tablet. Of course, it is horizontal and it will also charge your Nexus 7. There is still no word on pricing or shipping date.

The four docking pins could also be used for other accessories, but Asus has dismissed rumours of possible keyboard, which is hardly surprising given the price and size of the Nexus.
