Ivy Bridge Core i7-3610QM with GT630M

Amazon has jumped the gun and listed Lenovo's 14-inch Ideapad Y480 notebook based on Intel's upcoming Ivy Bridge CPU. This 14-incher will pack Intel's quad-core Core i7-3610QM CPU paired up with dedicated Nvidia Geforce GT630M graphics.

As noted, the new 14-inch Lenovo Ideapad Y480 packs Intel's quad-core Core i7-3610QM CPU clocked at 2.3GHz base clock with 3.3GHz Turbo Boost, 2MB of L2 cache and 6MB of L3 cache, Hyperthreading support and Intel's HD 4000 graphics controller. The CPU is paired up with dedicated Nvidia Kepler graphics, the Geforce GT630M GPU with 1GB of memory. We guess that we'll see Nvidia Optimus graphics switching in action here as well.

The rest of the features for this specific SKU include 8GB of memory, 750GB HDD, JBL speakers, all for a price tag of US $999. The rest of the specs are unfortunately unknown but according to previous reports, Y480 packs a rather underwhelming 14-inch 1366x768 screen.
