AMD's FX-4170 and FX-6200 get priced

A few weeks ago, AMD added two new CPUs to its FX-Series lineup, the FX-4170 and FX-6200, and now, AMD has finally released official pricing information. Both CPUs are also already available at Newegg.com as well as some key European retail/e-tail shops.

In case you missed them in February, the new FX-4170 quad-core is clocked at 4.2GHz base clock with 4.3GHz Turbo, packs 4MB of L2 and 8MB of L3 cache, features support for DDR3-1866 memory and has a 125W TDP. AMD's official price tag for this one is set at US $135 and it is currently available at Newegg.com for US $139.99 while Alternate.de sells it for €122,90.

The FX-6200 is a six-core part that works at 3.8GHz base clock with 4.1GHz Turbo, has 6MB of L2 cache and 8MB of L3 and features the same 125W TDP. The official price for this one is set at US $165 and Newegg.com is selling it for US $169.99. It is also available in Europe with a price tag of about €150, depending on which retail/e-tail shop are you looking at.
