Convert your account now

Hotmail has been given the Windows Live treatment and you can sign up for the new service right now if you have a hotmail e-mail account.

Converting your current hotmail account takes only a few clicks and the bonus is that you get 2GB of free email space, up from 250MB if you had a free hotmail account. Not quite up there with Gmail, but close.

The new user interface looks a lot more up to date than the ageing hotmail design and it can be customised to suit your personal taste as well.

A mobile version is also available for those with a Windows Mobile based handheld device.

To find out more, or to sign up for a new account, head over the the Windows Live site here
